Disability knows no nationality.

Barriers exist primarily in our minds. If we remove them from our thinking, physical and psychological barriers will also disappear. That’s
why we collaborate directly with Poles and Ukrainians, building bridges of understanding and joint projects where everyone participates
on equal terms.

We strive for a world where people with disabilities are fully included in both the workplace
and society. For example:

  • A person using a wheelchair can successfully work as a cashier in a store. They don’t
need to walk — they can sit and perform their duties just as effectively, and often with
even greater enthusiasm, because each shift becomes a triumph over stereotypes.

Integration is not about privileges — it’s about opportunities. It’s the heartbeat of society
syncing with the hearts of those who face daily challenges with incredible strength of spirit.

The Vision of True Integration

Today, we are facing a significant challenge: the insufficient promotion of employment for
people with disabilities. Far too often, employers offer only remote work — which is not a
solution, but merely a postponement of the problem. This creates a huge communication
barrier and prevents society from recognizing the true potential of these individuals.

Our goal is to show that a person with a disability can, wants to, and will work in any
industry! Imagine a young woman in a wheelchair cheerfully serving customers in a café, or a
man with hearing impairments expertly leading a team in an office. This is not fiction — it is
the reality we are creating together!

Our Mission: Breaking Down Barriers

Appeal of the Foundation’s President – Kostiantyn Kuusk

Hello, dear friends and partners!

My name is Kostiantyn Kuusk, and I am the President of the newly established charitable foundation “Apparel Plus.”

We stand at the threshold of a new era of integration for people with disabilities, regardless of their nationality — Polish, Ukrainian, or
any other.

A New Era of Integration: Disability – Not a Barrier,

but a Feature!

he main goal of our organization is the integration of people with disabilities through real workplaces and charitable activities, including
support for refugees from Ukraine. We place special emphasis on working with teenagers and youth — this is inclusive work for the next
generation!

We want society to see that disability is not a problem or obstacle; it is simply a different way of moving through the world, and each
person with a disability is unique. Every individual carries an inspiring story — like a boy from Ukraine who lost a leg due to the war, but
thanks to our support dreams of becoming a fashion designer and is already creating sketches that amaze everyone!

Our concrete actions include:

  • Fundraising and providing rehabilitation equipment

We don’t just give prosthetics or wheelchairs — we give people wings to lift their dreams higher.

  • Employment and professional integration support

Not just CV writing, but interactive group games and workshops!

We organize various integrative games (card games, logic games, dexterity games) where youth with and without disabilities play
together on equal terms.

Why are group games so important?

    • Develop communication and teamwork skills

    • Build trust and empathy among participants

    • Teach strategic thinking, patience, and creativity

    • Show that differences don’t divide — they unite, and shared play breaks stereotypes

This is not theory — it’s real teamwork where able-bodied people and people with disabilities build a team, laugh, and learn from each
other.

  • Talent development and confidence building

We help young people overcome fear of public speaking, discover their abilities, and present ideas — because the future belongs to the
brave!

  • Accessibility audits of facilities

Regardless of ownership type, we conduct detailed accessibility audits (public institutions, private companies, residential areas).

The main priority is safe access to the facility.

Each report is created step by step, point by point: entrances, ramps, door widths, restrooms, signaling, lighting, evacuation routes. We
provide specific recommendations + cost estimates for barrier removal.

  • Promotion of barrier-free architectural infrastructure in public spaces

Ramps, elevators, accessible entrances — this is not a luxury, but a bridge to a shared future.

  • Organization of awareness-raising events

Seminars, festivals, success stories — so that every heart can feel the warmth of true empathy.

We believe that together, we can achieve great results!

Every contribution, idea, and smile is a building block of a new world, where barriers fall and hearts connect — Polish with Ukrainian,
able-bodied with people with disabilities.

Goals of the “Apparel Plus” Foundation

We invite you to support our mission and join the New Era of Integration!

Imagine this: you are not just a donor or volunteer — you are a hero of change!
